The Joseph Smith Sr. family is believed to have owned three magic lamens (parchments) that were passed down by descendants of Hyrum Smith until they was donated to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The parchments contain a blend of sigils found in Reginal Scot’s book The Discoverie of Witchcraft (1584), astrological signs, and Christian scripture.
These lamens were folded and worn around the neck in a bag.
These are replicas based on research into magical and astrological symbolism and exclusive access to color photos of the originals. The line work was hand-drawn and then reprinted. Each parchment has color work that is hand applied and the gold paint on the Holiness to the Lord parchment is hand applied. These are made to order so expect 1-week from order date to shipping date.
